New Bobcat telehandler cab

Bobcat, now part of the Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment Group - has introduced a new telehandler operator's cab.

The new cab offers several significant changes including an improved dashboard, a fully integrated air conditioning system and sturdier steering wheel for easier handling and control.

The dashboard has been redesigned to ensure the operator has all the data conveniently placed and easy to read including all operational mode indicators which are shown in the top part of the display. Control switches are easier to see and use. Backlit switches illuminate each function and the activation light indicates when a function is in use. The visibility of attachments has been increased by lowering the display and dashboard, improving the operator’s line of sight.

Bobcat's new operator cab

The integrated air conditioning unit provides a 40 percent increase in airflow to 500 cubic metres per hour and an increase in the number of directional air vents giving a more even air distribution.

A new sun visor incorporates a continuous pull-down system providing a wider range of protection, giving better visibility of the work environment and instrumentation, even in full sunlight conditions. Finally, the exterior lights have been upgraded improved visibility.
