Titan boom to tour Europe
MEC’s master distributor for Europe, Platform Sales Europe (PSE), has ordered a number of MEC’s 40-S Titan boom lifts and plans a major road European road show later in the year in order to demonstrate the unique product to potential users and buyers.

The platform is supported centrally and rotates 180 degrees.
The Titan 40S has a maximum platform height of 40ft – 12 metres and essentially combines the capacity of a telehandler at 1,800kgs with the platform dimensions of a mega deck scissor lift and the outreach and rotation of a boom lift.
The unusual machine combines a scissor type chassis and platform with a three section telescopic boom plus a heavy jib that runs under the platform which is equipped with a rack and pinion drive and platform rotation to provide an amazing degree of movement.

The platform can travel and rotate on its heavy duty jib
The diesel powered lift includes four wheel drive, four wheel steer and automatic platform levelling. The platform rotates a full 180 degrees and is approved for up to four people plus over 1,350 kgs of material.
The machine weighs 10,900 kgs and can drive while elevated up to 9.1 metres platform height. Forward outreach is eight metres although the unit can cover up to 16.7 metres horizontally at a height of up to 6.7 metres.
