Win win at Vertikal Days

The parts team at UK Cranes, the Tadano Faun distributor for the UK and Ireland a simple but novel idea using some of its components

It sums its contest up in three bullet points:

* TEST YOUR STRENGTH
* WIN A CRANE
* PRIZE FOR EVERY ENTRY

The challenge is to create enough force to set of a pre-set electronic alarm and win an entry ticket in a draw for a Tadano Faun crane. We are not saying how big it is!

The Cranes UK stand at the first Vertikal Days

The company is considering asking for a token payment or contribution for each entry with the proceeds to go to the Lighthouse Club charity.

Everyone who enters will automatically win a small prize, such as a cap. Handy if the weather is as nice as we are praying for. Go along and give it a try the biggest brawniest men will not necessarily have a major advantage – fact the ladies may have an advantage?

Another fun competition will be found on the Independent Parts and Service stand. IPS will hold two competitions both related to the World Cup.

On Wednesday 16th only it will hold a ‘Come on England’ quiz. Visitors can complete the quiz on the stand, and all correct answers will be entered into a prize draw to win an England shirt. The draw will be made on the Wednesday evening.

IPS and its World cup competition

On both Wednesday 16th and Thursday the 17th it will run a ’Come on...and have a guess’ competition. The challenge will be to guess the number of footballs in a 6ft/1.8m goal mouth on its stand. There will be a separate draw on each day with the chance to win an ‘England chair and Bubba Keg’ .

In addition to these and other challenges the event will feature one of the largest exhibits of lifting equipment in Europe this year. If you have not already planned your visit - Do it now!
