Genie appoints IPS in the UK

Genie has appointed Independent Parts & Service (IPS) to support its UK/Irish parts efforts following consolidation of its European replacement parts operations in Roosendaal Holland.

The appointment of IPS takes effect from July 5th and is on a non-exclusive basis, at the same time Genie customers will be transferred to a new parts discount programme based on annual volumes, with no discounts for those purchasing less than $15,000 of parts a year.

Maximum discounts for those spending over $325,000 a year is 35 or 50 percent, depending on the category. Telford based IPS offers a wide range of replacement parts for most brands of aerial lift as well as running a large mobile service team.
