New Portuguese dealer for Snorkel

Aerial lift manufacturer Snorkel - which now incoprorates UpRight, has appointed Comingersoll as its new distributor for Portugal.

Based in Carnaxide, Lisbon with a second facility in Maia near Porto, the company was founded in 1984. It now has three divisions, construction, industrial and transport (trucks and busses) it both sells and rents equipment.

Construction and industrial products include compressors, generators and compactors, and excavators. Brands represented include Ingersoll Rand, from which it takes its name, Sunward mini excavators and skid steers and Sany excavators.

The group also operates in Brazil under the name Comingersoll do Brasil and in Angola where it owns Blackwood Hodge Angola.

Enrique Garcia, Snorkel’s district manager for Southern Europe, said: "Comingersoll is a great addition to our distributor network This is a company that builds long term customer relationships by delivering high quality machines and really great product support."
