New managing director for HDW

Dutch crane and access sales company HDW has appointed Andries Schouten as managing director, officially taking over from Hans Barendregt as of today.

Schouten is currently sales director of Forktruck, access and telehandler sales and rental company Gunco a sister company and part of the Gunco group owned by Pon. He has more than 15 years experience with the company. In addition to his new role Schouten will retain responsibility for long term rental activities at Gunco.

HDW is the Genie distributor for the Benelux region and Teupen and Unic distributor for the Netherlands.

Hans Barendregt will stay on board on a part-time basis as an advisor to the Gunco group (Gunco Netherlands, Gunco Belgium, Gunco Luxembourg, HDW, Milcon and Statech).
