Bobcat steps up production
Bobcat is adding 100 hourly jobs at its Gwinner facility in North Dakota following the consolidation of most of its North American production there and improving order intake.
The Gwinner plant is the original Bobcat production facility with production dating back to 1958 when the compact loader concept was acquired by Melroe Manufacturing Co, it is now owned by Doosan.
Rich Goldsbury, president of Bobcat Americas said: “We have finished transitioning all product lines to Gwinner and are experiencing growth in certain areas of our business. It has always been our plan to build the Gwinner workforce as we see an increase in demand for our products.”
The new positions include assemblers, material handlers, and welders the majority of which are for second and third shifts.
