ATEX pick & carry crane

Italian based crane maker Valla, has delivered an ATEX certified explosion proof version of its 7.5 tonne pick & carry crane – the 75EX -for work in a refinery in Singapore.

The Valla 75EX

The new crane joins a number of other ATEX models, including the Valla 50EX and 20EX. Other larger models have also been modified in the UK by Pyroban.

The new crane is as suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres where hydrogen and acetylene may be present – i.e. Zone 2. Making it ideal for lifting applications in
Petrochemical, Explosives and Pharmaceutical plants.
