Ooops!

Moving large houses by road is not uncommon in the USA it does require some basic planning though when crossing bridges.

A reader sent us an email which we felt we simply had to share with a wider audience. It asks two basic questions for a transportation engineer.
1. How much does the house weight?
2. What loadings will a two lane rural bridge support?

We have no idea when the ‘incident’ in the following photographs occurred or exactly where it occurred. Perhaps one of you will recognise it and let us know a few more details?
