New non-execs for Harsco

Harsco, owner of Harsco Infrastructure which incorporates SGB, Hünnebeck and Patent Scaffold, has appointed David C. Everitt of Deere and James M. Loree of Stanley Black & Decker to its board of directors..

Loree is chief operating officer of Stanley Black & Decker, originally with Stanley Works, a position he retained following the merger with Black & Decker in March.
Prior to 2009 he was chief financial officer of Stanley, having joined the company in 1999 from General Electric where he served for almost 20 years, including a spell as vice president for finance and strategic planning at GE Capital.

James M. Loree


Everitt is president of Deere’s Agriculture and Turf division for North America, Asia, Australia and Sub-Saharan Africa. During his 35-year career with Deere he has led sales, marketing, manufacturing and product development operations in most regions of the world, while overseeing joint ventures and acquisitions in China, Europe and South America.

David C. Everitt


Harsco chief executive Salvatore D. Fazzolari said: “We warmly welcome Dave and Jim to the Harsco board, both for their extensive leadership experience within two of the world’s most respected organisations and equally for their exceptional global knowledge within virtually every key region of the world. Their skills and global perspective will be an asset to Harsco’s continued emerging market expansion.”

Everitt and Loree are effective November 1st and will succeed Howard Pierce and Geoffrey Butler, in April 2011 when they plan to formally retire from the board.
