Demountable Isoli truck mount

Italian based aerial lift manufacturer Isoli, has recently supplied one of its 21 metre truck mounted PNT 210J lifts with some novel modifications.

The customer wanted to be able to use the truck both as an access platform and a flat-bed truck, complete with loader crane. The solution by Isoli uses a demountable platform/flat bed system allowing the two to be inter-changed when necessary.

Using the popular 3.5 tonne Nissan 35.11, the customer can choose either the 21 metre working height, 10 metre outreach articualted boom lift with in-line stabilisers, or the flatbed truck and crane.

The Italian customer says that this system has the advantage of reduced insurance and tax by using a single chassis for two purposes.
