Western rebrands acquisitions

Alberta, Canada based WesternOne Rentals and Sales is bringing its Volvo Rents (Deerfoot Rentals) facilities in Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta, and On Site Equipment locations in Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Edmonton under the WesternOne Rentals and Sales brand.

The move means that the company will be dropping the Volvo Rents franchise, held by Deerfoot which the company, owned by WesternOne Equity, acquired in 2008, while On Site was purchased in April of this year.

WesternOne has also combined the two Lethbridge stores into one large full line store but will continue to operate two separate stores in Calgary, one specialising in general rental and construction heat and the other in aerial lifts and material handling equipment. The Red Deer and Edmonton stores will be full-line locations.

Steve Taylor, vice president of marketing and corporate accounts said: “This will give WesternOne 11 branches in British Columbia and Alberta and really brings us together as one company.”
