CTE to launch Lithium spider

CTE has announced that it will show a Lithium battery powered version of its 17 metre Traccess 170E spider lift at SAIE.

The move follows Hinowa’s development of the technology around a year ago and which it has now extended across its line.

The CTE Traccess 170E

The CTE170E will offer around five hours of continuous operation and will require eight hours to completely recharge.

The bulk of the machine will be the same as the standard units, with a 17 metre working height, 7.5 metres outreach, 200kg platform capacity and overall width over the outriggers of 2.8 metres.

CTE is also planning to unveil a new 29 metre truck-mounted articulated platform, the ZED 29 J at SAIE. The unit will feature a two stage parallelogram sigma riser, telescopic top boom and articulated jib. Outreach is said to be over 15 metres and it will offer 360 degrees slew.
