Speaking on his appointment Pagliero said: "I extend a special thank you on behalf of ANFIA and its work platform members to Andrea Certo for his many achievements during his two-year presidency, and especially for trying to create a strong position for the powered access industry within ANFIA.”
“My task will be to continue the work initiated by my predecessor to answer the many needs of the sector, most of which are aimed at improving safety conditions of workers using elevating work platforms."
ANFIA represents over 280 companies with combined annual revenues of almost €60 billion, while employing around 130,000. It is one of the largest groups within the Italian industrial confederation - Confindustria.
It represents the interests of the association's members towards public and private institutions and seeks resolution of technical, economic, fiscal, legal, statistical and quality problems facing the automotive industry.
