First Terex A600C for UK joins demolition team


DSM demolition contractors of Birmingham,UK, have taken delivery of the first Terex A600C telescopic boom crawler crane in the UK.

The A600C is built in Italy at the Terex Bendini plant, with a lift capacity of 60 tonnes, and a four section 32 metre boom. The unit purchased by DSM is the first in the UK, and joins the growing trend for telescopic crawlers in this country. Terex joins other suppliers of mid size tele- crawlers including IHI, Hitachi-Sumitomo and Sennebogen.

DSM specialise in demolition, dismantling and recycling of old bridges and structures, the Terex A600C will fit well with its fleet of long reach excavators equipped with demolition attachments.

The crane is currently working at the Cadbury factory in Bournville, Birmingham.
