Niftylift appoints Belaruslift

UK based boom lift manufacturer Niftylift has appointed Minsk based Belaruslift as its distributor for Belarus.

In order to get the partnership off to a strong start the company, which is formally registered as TPC Co- trading as Belaruslift, placed a stock order with Niftylift for Nifty 120, 140, 170 and 210 trailer mounted lifts with 12, 14, 17 and 21 metre working heights. The new order follows an earlier significant trailer lift order delivered in 2010. The company also operates a number of Niftylift 21 metre SD210 4x4x4s.

The two companies have been working together for more than 12 months and the formal agreement follows the success of a joint stand at the Minsk Construction Exhibition in late 2010, which generated a highly encouraging level of interest in the Niftylift product range.

Craddock said: “It is a completely new export market for Niftylift and we’ve been surprised by how buoyant the Belarus market is, in terms of rental and sales potential, especially when comparing the extremely low activity levels of the nearby neighbouring Baltic States.”

Founded in 1997 BelarusLift has pioneered the rental of aerial lifts, mast climbing platforms and construction hoists. Last year it was also appointed as a Maeda/Kranlyft dealer. The company has grown steadily over the years to become one of the leading access rental companies in Belarus with regional centres providing spare parts and qualified service support throughout the country.
