Minimum maximum

Hocap of Holland has sold a 4.9 tonne Maeda LC785 mini crawler crane to assist on board one of the world’s largest crane barges.

Herreema’s Thialf deep water construction vessel is equipped with two 7,826 tonne cranes – each almost 1,600 times the size of the little Maeda!

The LC 785 will assist with a variety of activities on the Thialf including the lifting of shackles and smaller ancillary gear.

The choice of a Maeda LC785 was based on the positive experience of an LC755, that Hereema purchased to work on the Balder, another deep water barge that the company owns.
