Five die on Tower crane collapse

Five people were killed on Saturday when a tower crane collapsed near Hangzhou City in China.

The accident occurred around 9 a.m. at a construction site in Lin’an, a county-level city administered by Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province. Local reports suggest that the crane failed while it was being worked on – possibly during erection or dismantling.

Three men died on site, while two others died from their injuries later in hospital. We have no further details.
