Eastern region sales manager for Acme

US based re-rent company Acme Lift, has appointed Jay Franzak as eastern United States regional manager, based in Frederick, Maryland.

Franzak has worked in the equipment rental industry for almost 30 years, having worked for 14 years at Hertz Equipment Rental, where he started out as a sales coordinator in 1983, working his way up to sales representative, branch manager, north eastern regional sales director and finally south eastern regional manager – a job he held until 1997.

He then joined United Rentals as a district manager, was promoted to north eastern regional sales and marketing manager in 2006 and north eastern regional national accounts manager in 2008.

Acme Lift chief executive Woody Weld said: “We welcome Jay and believe his exceptional record of customer service and rental acumen will help Acme Lift better serve our Atlantic Coast customers with local and personal attention. Jay believes in mutually beneficial relationships and has the ability and authority to quickly solve our customer’s re-rental challenges in the eastern United States and Canada.”
