Hasenfratz goes for Faurecia directorship

Linda Hasenfratz, chief executive of Linamar – owner of Skyjack is to be proposed as new director of Paris based automotive equipment supplier Faurecia.

Her appointment will be put to the group’s shareholders at its Annual General Meeting in Paris on May 26th and will be for a fixed period of five years.

Faurecia is the world’s sixth largest automotive supplier with products such as car seating and interiors, emission control systems and car exteriors. Its products tend to compliment Linamar’s product ranges which are more transmission and drive train related.

In addition to her role at Linamar Hasenfratz has been a director of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) since June 2004, a director of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) since 2005 and in October was appointed to the board of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives.
