Another new Multitel from Pagliero

Pagliero is launching a new 19.5 metre 3.5 tonne Multitel truck mounted lift in Italy this week.

The new model, the HX 195, was unveiled at a distributor launch party held at the company's Mantua production facility this weekend and will be on display at this week’s GIS show in Piacenza. It will also be a feature on the Access Industries stand at Vertikal Days in the UK in late June.

While the new platform uses some of the MX range structural components, it incorporates a new all-hydraulic control system – which is what the HX nomenclature refers to. It also features an increased elevation angle on the lower boom – taking it almost to the vertical.

The unit is targeted at the bottom end of the self-drive rental sector and as such has been designed to be simple, cost effective, with a no frills specification. Which will also make it a popular machine in less developed markets. The unit can be mounted on either a Nissan Cabstar or Renault Maxity truck.

The HX195 has a full 19.5 metres of working height and a healthy 9.35 metres of working outreach with 200kg platform capacity. It is also worth pointing out that it has eight metres or more of working outreach all the way up from three metres to almost 16 metres of working height.

Melvyn Else managing director of Access Industries – Multitel’ s UK distributor said: “if you compare the HX195 envelope with the envelope of other platforms in this size range you cannot fail to be impressed".

The 1,400 x 700mm Platform has up to 60 degrees of rotation in either direction, the hydraulic controls are fully proportional and said to be very smooth to operate.

This is the second of three new models that Access Industries/Multitel will be launching at Vertikal days. The MX205 with its end mounted platform was announced in April and will debut at Vertikal Days Click here to read more on MX205 The unveiling of the third new model is expected to held until the opening day of the UK show on June 22nd.
