Rejuvenated Skyjack TK46

UK based Prolift Access’ rebuild centre has delivered a completely refurbished 46ft Skyjack TK46 to rental company Facelift.

Skyjack stopped making the unique ‘sub-zero’ TK self-propelled booms over 10 years ago, but they have remained highly popular ever since for particular applications, although they were relatively slow sellers when introduced in the late 1990’s.

The lift features with a below ground reach of 6.4 metres, making them ideally suited for under-bridge inspection work, harbour wall maintenance and ship repair applications.

Andy Pearson managing director of Wellington, Somerset based Prolift said “ Skyjack has provided us excellent technical support in the refurbishment of this TK”

Gordon Leicester of Facelift added: “The TK46 will be a great addition to our hire fleet, we have strong demand for this type of specialist access equipment”
