New Liebherr for A.K.V
German crane rental company A.K.V. - Auto-Kran-Vermietung - of Zweibrücken has taken delivery of a new 70 tonne Liebherr LTM1070-4.2 All Terrain crane.
The crane was collected from Liebherr Ehingen by the owner of A.K.V, Günter Hüther. The LTM 1070-4.2 offers 12 tonne axle loads on the road with 10.2 tonnes of counterweight on board as well as the bi-fold swingaway boom extension and hook blocks.

In addition to cranes A.K.V rents aerial lifts and offers specialised transportation services, the company entered the market over 12 years ago. Hüther, who still operates cranes, ordered the optional radio remote controls which allow all crane movements to be carried out from the remote station. The aim he says is to improve safety and efficiency with the crane driver able to sling the load himself and to always work with a clear view of the load.
