Harsco teams up with Irex

Harsco Infrastructure has agreed a strategic alliance with Lancaster, Pennsylvania -based Irex Contracting Group that appoints Harsco as a preferred supplier of scaffolding and labour on industrial and infrastructure projects throughout North America.

Irex owns a network of companies that provide a broad range of specialist contracting services, including the installation and maintenance of mechanical insulation and environmental services for office, residential and institutional buildings as well as manufacturing facilities, power and process plants.

Harsco Infrastructure chief executive Ivor Harrington said: “This alliance brings to the North American market a new and exciting one-stop capability that leverages our Harsco Infrastructure footprint, technical expertise and asset base in combination with Irex’s leadership in specialty contracting services. We share a common vision for being a major player in this sector.”
