The operator escaped uninjured
The crane appears to be set up on firm level ground and yet has done a full flip as though it was suddenly unloaded from a very heavy load. Thankfully and amazingly the operator managed to escape from the wreck uninjured.

The crane flipped over completely
The crane, a Link Belt, was working on the Houston Metro Rail project near Hogan, the boom flipped over the back crashing through a number of overhead electricity wires, while a lifting beam it had on its hook landed on the front of a pick-up truck.

The lifting beam and crane hook struck a pick-up - parked well behind the crane
The power lines came down on a fast food outlet which had to be evacuated, while the road was also closed while the power lines were made safe.
