Hewden wins Skanska contract

UK based rental company Hewden has won a new two-year deal to supply powered access equipment to Skanska UK.

The contract includes the supply of a range of self-propelled booms and scissors and adds to Hewden’s existing agreement with Skanska for the supply of accommodation units, which began last year.

Hewden sales and marketing director Jeff Schofield said: “We have worked closely with the Skanska’ s procurement team to ensure our provision matches its operational needs and is aligned to its sustainability and health and safety proposition. With our depot network throughout the UK, we are able to provide equipment on a national basis.”

Matt Turner, strategic buyer for Skanska UK added: "This new strategic agreement allows us to build upon the strong working relationship with Hewden. We have placed significant importance on safe and efficient working at height practices combined with realising the economies and operational efficiencies available by working with an existing supply chain partner."
