Antwerp goes with GSR

The City of Antwerp in Belgium has placed a multiple order for GSR truck mounted lifts, including a 22 metre GSR E220TJ.

The first unit, in what local GSR distributor Allift Michielsens says is a significant order, was delivered recently. The delivery follows an extensive test and evaluation period involving the manufacturer, distributor and the Iveco truck dealer.

The telescopic boom E220TJ equipped with articulating jib features a platform capacity upgraded to 280kg and straight down outriggers. In this configuration the platform, which is mounted on a 12 tonne Iveco ML120E18 chassis, offers 13 metres of full capacity outreach.

The balance of the order is due for delivery later this year and will include the new 23.5 metre GSR E240PX compact articulated boom lift, mounted on an Iveco Daily chassis with CNG gas turbine driven engine. The City of Antwerp wants to pioneer an all CO² reduced vehicle fleet and has selected this technology in order to help achieve that aim.
