500 tonne Liebherr for Bin Quraya

Saudi Arabia based Bin Quraya Est has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 All Terrain crane. Awad bin Ali bin Mohammed Quraya travelled to Liebherr’ s Ehingen plant in May for the official hand-over of what is now the ‘flagship’ of the company's 250 crane fleet.
Bin Quraya takes delivery of the new Liebherr LTM1500-8.1

The LTM1500-8.1 can travel with 50 metres of main boom and outriggers in place within 12 tonne axles loadings or with 84 metres of on board reach where road regulations allow making it a highly versatile crane. To date over 300 units have been delivered.

Bin Quraya operates from three locations in the kingdom and employs more than 1,600. Its main focus is work on oil platforms, the laying of oil pipelines and general construction work, including major projects in the petrochemical sector.
