In the UK however, under STGO rules, the crane can also travel with up to 19.8 tonnes of counterweight on board, giving maximum axle loads of 16.5 tonnes.
NMT’s operations director, Tim Ambridge said: “This new crane features Terex’s latest generation carrier cab which provides unrivalled operator comfort combined with a futuristic style.”
NMT has also ordered a six axle 200 tonne AC200-1 which will be delivered later this year. “With an exceptional ballast carrying capacity of 25 tonnes as well as its steel mats, the AC200 is a truly cost-effective solution to crane hire in this class,” said Ambridge.
