AFI invests in 500 new lifts
UK based AFI-Uplift is taking this year’s spend on fleet modernisation to over £5 million with the purchase of 500 new lifts, representing around 15 percent of its total fleet.
A significant part of the capital expenditure is for low level and electric scissor lifts, with the 100 Bravi Lites ordered in March,
See 100 Lites for Bravi, Power Tower and Youngman BoSS X3 push around lifts and Haulotte Star 10 mast booms and 40ft Compact 14s along with a wide range of Genie and Skyjack scissor lifts.
Finally the company has also ordered four Holland-lift Combistar N-165EL-12s and two N-195EL-12s narrow electric scissor lifts taking its Holland Lift narrow electric scissor fleet to over 35 units.

AFI-Uplift is adding to and updating its industrial and low level fleet
AFI director Graham Osmond said: “Even before this latest investment the fleet we had an average machine age of around five years, which is significantly younger than many of competitors.”
