APS goes batteries

UK based access equipment distributor Access Platform Sales (APS) has entered the battery distribution business, focussing on deep cycle batteries for the aerial lift market.

The move is part of the company’s on-going expansion plans for its replacement parts business. The batteries carry its own branding and according to the company will perform as well as the premium products on the market.

APS says that it can offer next day delivery in mainland UK for orders placed before 14:00, with free delivery on orders of eight or more batteries.

Stuart Parker, APS parts manager said: “We can now offer our customers top quality batteries that are equivalent to other premium brands, available from stock without the high cost of the premium brands”.
