Watch your tyres

A truck crane was stripped of all 10 of its wheels and tyres last weekend in Bonita Springs, Florida.

The crane, a three axle 1997 Koehring T340 crane was left jacked up on its outriggers over the weekend making it easy for the thieves to make off with the running gear, valued at around $10,000.

The crane on Monday morning

Police are warning local crane owners not to leave their machines jacked up on any site where vehicular access might be possible. They believe that in this case the thieves may have made two trips to cart away their 'booty'.
