The X120F crane is available with eight metres of reach with a single telescopic section or 10.1 metres with a double telescope. Gross lifting capacity is 15.9 tonnes ideal for heavy duty applications. The first ‘prototypes’ of the crane installation on the Forwarder was inspected by Caterpillar engineers earlier this year, and resulted in the exclusive cooperation agreement now signed.
To start the agreement Caterpillar has placed an initial order for 50 units of the X120F fully prepared for fitting to the new Forwarder 584.
