New MD for Leguan

Finnish based lift manufacturer Leguan has appointed Jukka Karjalainen, 40, as its new managing director.

Karjalainen has an extensive experience on the heavy equipment manufacturing and marketing, mostly with the forestry machinery manufacturer Ponsse Oyj. His time with Ponsse included spells as managing director of its UK subsidiary, he moved to Oy Logset Ab in 2006 as sales director.

Leguan’s previous managing director Risto Käkelä has moved to the post of chairman of Leguan and managing director of sister company Avant Tecno Oy.
