More orders for Cumberland Industries

Kettering, UK-based Cumberland Industries has won another order to supply truck mounted platforms to Iraq. The latest order is for four 20 metre units mounted on an Iveco 7.5 tonne chassis.

The company supplied 24 metre platforms to Iraq earlier this year. This takes Cumberland’s exports to Iraq over the past three years to more than 200 vehicles. In addition Cumberland has also sold three Niftylift 140 trailers into Basra.

“We have recently moved to bigger premises so that we can increase our production,” said managing director Paul Murphy. “We are also offering support, assembly and service to Socage UK and to Altec worldwide and will also be releasing some new joint ventures over the coming months.”

“I feel with the support we have received from Socage, Altec and Niftylift and our great team of employees gives us a competitive and comprehensive range of equipment available not only for the Middle East but also the UK and Europe.”
