ALE opens office in Iraq

UK based heavy lift, transport and installation specialist ALE has opened an office in Basra, Iraq, its first base in the country.

The company says that Basra was chosen due to its strategic location as the hub of Iraqi oil developments.

"The new Iraq office will allow us to offer a more complete service in this key geographic area,” said ALE executive director Richard Peckover. “We are currently involved in projects in Iraq and are looking forward to offering our complete set of services within the country. We have appointed Alberto Pittaluga as our in-country manager with immediate effect.”

ALE is headquartered in Staffordshire and has more than 20 offices across Europe, the Far East, Africa, America, South America and the Middle East.
