Snorkel adds to Chinese distribution

Snorkel has appointed Dongguan Kango Material Handling Equipment as its distributor for the provinces of Fujian, Guangdong and Hunan in Southern China.

Founded in 1982, Dongguan Kango also handles Toyota fork lift trucks and BT pallet trucks in Fujian and Guangdong. The company has 12 subsidiaries, providing product support across the region. It employs 145 people, including 87 service engineers and runs a fleet of 300 rental machines.

The company has recruited a dedicated Snorkel sales manager and two salesmen and has also invested in a number of demonstration units, including a 46ft A46JRT articulating boom lift, a 12ft M1230E mast lift and UL40 DC vertical mast push-around lift.

Dongguan Kango headquarters
