Minnesota based Manitowoc Crane group distributor, Hayden-Murphy Equipment, is the latest company to qualify for Manitowoc Crane Care’s EnCORE Partner remanufacturing programme.
Hayden-Murphy of Minneapolis was founded in 1957 and is only the eighth company to be certified as having met the requirements of the programme that requires specific training of technical staff, including advanced training and certification for welders to levels allowing them to weld critical structural components on cranes.

Each dealer must also add a trained structural engineer to its staff to work directly with Manitowoc on technical issues. Manitowoc Crane Care then provides full commercial, technical and financial support for each partner, allowing them to fully remanufacture Manitowoc group cranes.
Mike Kirk, product support manager for Hayden-Murphy said: “The ability to make structural repairs really allows us to expand our scope of services. Boom repair is a big need in this industry. Most cranes will experience boom damage at some point in their life cycle. Offering this service will help our customers significantly reduce downtime.”
