Terex AC200-1P for NMT
UK based crane rental company NMT has taken delivery of one of the first 200 tonne Terex AC200-1P All Terrain cranes in the UK.
NMT, which operates from a base near Bedford, specified the crane with six axles (Version P) instead of the standard five, allowing it to travel to more jobs without the need for back up vehicle/counterweight truck.
The new crane boasts a main 68 metre boom plus a 17 metre bi fold swingaway extension taking it up to 85 metres and offering up to 40 degrees of offset. In the UK the crane can travel with 25 tonnes of its maximum 68.5 tonne counterweight as well as all the extension and normal range of blocks and tackle.

NMT's new 200 tonner, the Terex AC200-1P
NMT's operation's director, Tim Ambridge said: "With an exceptional ballast carrying capacity of 25 tonnes along with its steel mats, this makes the AC200 a truly cost-effective solution to crane hire in this class."
“This latest addition to the NMT fleet is part of an on-going investment programme to ensure that the NMT fleet is equipped to handle any type or size of lift anywhere in the UK.”
