Snorkel appoints Falcon

Aerial lift manufacturer Snorkel, has appointed Mike Falcon as its new regional sales manager for South America.

Falcon worked for UpRight- now incorporated into Snorkel - in North America from 1983 to 2001 and has spent over 25 years in the access industry, most recently as an independent manufacturer’s representative.

In his new role he will be responsible for developing existing distributors and strengthening the company’s dealer network through new appointments. He will maintain his current home base in Tampa Bay, Florida.

Mike Falcon

Falcon said: "I am delighted to join Snorkel at what is a very exciting time for the company in Latin America. This is a land of opportunity right now and we have excellent distributors in some key territories. I am looking forward to helping these dealers develop their Snorkel business, while also identifying and appointing distributors in other growth markets where we may not yet have complete coverage."

He reports directly to Richard Tindale, Snorkel’s global sales and marketing director, and replaces Enrique Garcia Delgado, who was interim manager for the region, in addition to his duties as district manager for Southern Europe. He was recently promoted to regional sales manager for Europe.

Tindale added: “Thanks to Enrique, Mike has some solid foundations on which to build. Our distributors in Latin America need the right level of support to help them maximise their Snorkel business and has a huge amount of experience in this field and I am sure our dealers will be in safe hands with him."
