Sany America adds Canadian dealer

Sany America of Peachtree City, Georgia - has appointed BIK Hydraulics of Toronto, Ontario as its first crane dealership in Canada. The company will cover Ontario, as well as the Atlantic and Maritime provinces. The company placed an initial order for three Rough Terrain cranes.

“BIK has a very loyal customer base and we are honoured supply them with our rough terrain and crawler cranes,” said Kirk Erlinger, director of dealer development at Sany America. “We are looking forward to helping them expand their business, and we could not have chosen a better partner to represent us.”

Until now BIK’s business has focused on truck-mounted lifting equipment, with many customers in the general contracting sector.

“In late 2005, we began looking for an RT and crawler crane manufacturer to represent,” said Elemer Ivan, owner of BIK Hydraulics. “When I met the sales and service team from Sany and then flew to Atlanta to visit their facility, I knew this is the team I want to do business with.”
