AFI acquires Instant Training

UK access specialist AFI has acquired Instant Training and will incorporate it into its existing training business.

Instant Training was established in Telford in 2002 to offer a wide range of Health & Safety training, including IPAF and PASMA courses and is owned by Independent Parts & Service (IPS).

No details of the transaction have been released, but we understand that all training will be moved into AFI’s operations.

Nick Selley, AFI group business development director, said: “One of the main attractions of bringing the Instant Training business into AFI is that the company has a strong customer base and is a respected brand within the industry, particularly the working at height industry. In recognition of this, we are retaining the Instant Training name, the company’s training team and its contact telephone number.”

“Their customers will have the added advantage of having access to AFI’s 20 training centres throughout the UK and our team of over 12 trainers. They will also have ready access to one of the most modern and versatile powered access hire fleets in the UK.”
