New LiftPod
Aerial lift and telehandler producer JLG has introduced its new 1.8 metre LiftPod FS60 to North America, while its FS80 is being launched in South America.
The FS60 features a 150kg lift capacity, inward opening gate and has been engineered to pass more easily through doorways and into elevators, without needing to dismantle it. Its 762mm/30 inch wide steel base frame and casters on the back wheels also helps improve mobility.
Randy Marzicola, director of development for JLG, said: “We listened to our customers and developed the FS60 in response to their requests for a LiftPod model that can fit through doorways and under eight foot ceilings.”

Both machines break down into three lightweight components in around 30 seconds, so the company claim. They are powered either by a power drill, or an optional power pack. They also include an attachable work tray that holds up to 15kg of tools and materials.
