Effer UK

Italian loader crane manufacturer Effer, part of the CTE group, has launched a new business in the UK to distribute and support its range of truck and marine loader cranes.

The new venture will be managed by Clive Treslove as sales manager, who returns to the loader crane industry after working for the University of Sheffield. Priot to that he was employed by Hiab as a mobile service engineer, progressing to lorry loader operator instructor, before moving to Palfinger dealer TH White as an area sales manager.

Clive Treslove

Treslove will be responsible for establishing and managing a network of sales dealerships and service agents across the UK, with the aim to provide an improved service to new and existing Effer customers. Effer UK’s main office will be located at the CTE UK premises in Enderby, Leicestershire.

Effer said: “Effer Cranes - both marine and truck cranes - have been sold in the UK for over 40 years, by a number of dealers and service agents. However we wanted to be much closer to our customers in the UK, hence the decision to establish our own crane operation in the UK, as Effer UK.”

Effer UK will make its debut at Vertikal Days in June, with the new Effer 28 - a 2.8tm crane which replaces the Effer 20 model.
