Oil&Steel strengthens UK distribution
Oil&Steel has appointed Manchester-based HSG Systems as its distributor for truck mounted and tracked spider platforms.
The agreement covers all parts of the UK and Ireland but excludes Scotland which will continue to be covered by the Jackson Group. Oil&Steel says that the appointment shows its commitment to the UK market, improving the coverage of the territory while providing a closer support to its customers.
HSG Systems can offer full installation, service, spare parts and repair facilities operating from its purpose-built facility in Trafford Park, Manchester, as well as further support from an already established service network across the UK and Ireland. HSG also plans to offer full service, inspection and maintenance contracts for all new equipment, along with similar packages for existing units.

HSG is owned and managed by an experienced team including Peter Howell and David Gordon who initially distributed JLG and Snorkel platforms before moving into rental of van mounted platforms and servicing/inspection of vehicle mounted aerials. Scott McCall was previously with Lavendon before moving six years ago into manufacturing and distribution with Gardner Denver and Altec.
Oil&Steel has a 22 model range of truck mounted platforms up to 62 metres working height as well as seven spider platforms with working heights up to 21 metres.
