Winkelmann adds more H.A.B

German powered access rental company Georg Winkelmann has taken delivery of more H.A.B booms and scissor lifts.

The latest unit to be delivered is 68ft platform height/22.5 metre working height S225 – 24 D4WDS, with 2.7 metre deck extension- providing a 7.2 metre long platform, 750kg platform capacity. The diesel powered lift, with four wheel drive, and levelling jacks weights just over 11 tonnes.

The unit follows the recent arrival of a H.A.B GT 20 D4WD 60ft/20 metre articulated four wheel drive boom lift.

Winkelmann, a member of System Lift, a national franchise/alliance of independent local rental companies, is based in Erlangen northern Bavaria, with a branch in Bamberg Breitengüßbach.

The company was founded in 1992 as a small scaffold contractor and purchased its first aerial lift to help with larger scaffold projects. In 2000 it entered the platform rental market proper, joining System Lift in 2002. Finally in 2008 it separated the scaffolding and powered access business and added telehandlers to its range which now extends to 53 metre truck mounted lifts, 28 metre scissor lifts and 26 metre boom lifts.
