Advanced takes UK’s first big Ecostars

UK based access rental company Advanced Access Platforms will shortly take delivery of the first 14 metre working height Holland Lift Ecostar 11812 battery electric scissor lifts in the UK.

The initial order is for six units, two of which will be displayed at Vertikal Days in late June. The 39ft platform height Ecostar 11812 is 2.34 metres long by 1.2 metres wide, weighs 2,900kgs, has an extended platform of 3.3 metres with 300kg unrestricted platform capacity.

Holland Lift announced the larger models in its Ecostar range back in November 2010 -it also has a 1.6 metre wide model for outdoor applications – See original report – with Advanced placing orders with Holland Lift last July.

Advanced is part of the Access Link – the association of independently owned regional rental companies – and serves the greater London are from its base in Sutton, Surrey.
