Manitowoc appoints global product director

Thibaut Le Besnerais has been appointed global product director for the Potain tower crane line.

His role involves working with the regional executive vice presidents as well as with the company’s operations teams to coordinate and facilitate new product launches and product updates. He will report to Ingo Schiller, vice president of marketing and product management.

Rémi Deporte, currently global product director for mechanisms at Potain, will also expand his responsibilities to include Potain self-erecting cranes. In this new role Deporte will report to Le Besnerais.

Thibaut Le Besnerais

Le Besnerais has more than 15 years of experience at Manitowoc having first joined the company as commercial director for France. Since then he has assumed several other roles having previously been vice president of special application cranes and running Manitowoc Crane Care for the European/Middle East region.

Rémi Deporte

Schiller said: “Le Besnerais’ history of leadership roles with Manitowoc has given him a comprehensive understanding of our products and customers, as well as the tower crane market as a whole. His experience will help us fulfil the strategic vision we have for our tower crane product lines.”
