Snorkel brings Queensland service in house
Aerial lift manufacturer Snorkel is to bring product support coverage in Queensland, Australia in-house.
The company has subcontracted the after sales service to EPMS since 2009. But from July 1st it will provide direct service support and spare parts distribution from its Meadowbrook facility, just south of Brisbane. At the same time EPMS will cease to be the authorised after-sales representative for Snorkel.
Snorkel already provides direct after-sales care to customers based in the rest of Australia.

Matthew Elvin, president of Snorkel Australia, said: “We believe that the integrated sales and service model provides our customers with the best possible level of support. We have some great customers in this part of the world and owe it to them to deliver the best care. Over the coming months, Snorkel will be expanding its Meadowbrook team by creating up to 10 jobs and further investing in tools and equipment to support our Queensland customer base.”
Snorkel moved its Queensland branch to Meadowbrook in 2009. The 16,000 square metre facility includes 300 square metres of office space, along with product support capabilities and a warehouse for machines and spare parts.
Snorkel has appointed a new Service Supervisor based in Meadowbrook and is currently recruiting both workshop-based technicians and field service engineers.
