Cargotec expands in Poland

Cargotec, owner of Hiab and Kalmar, has decided to proceed with the expansion of its multi-assembly plant in Stargard Szczecinski, Northern Poland.

The company will spend around €20 million on a new painting and assembly area which should be ready to begin production in 2014.

Cargotec broke ground on the 41 hectare facility in 2009, with production operations beginning in 2010, since then it has delivered a wide range of the group’s load handling products to markets worldwide.
